Audio Visual Technician
M2 Events Group (Music Matters and Directions AV) is looking to hire motivated, enthusiastic, experienced Audio Visual Technicians to assist in the setup, operation, and strike of basic to intermediate equipment for corporate staging events and breakout rooms. Candidates should be comfortable taking direction and communicating with clients onsite to provide flawless meetings and events.

Travel Required: Yes 50-60%
Responsibilities:
Setup and operation of a/v equipment in a corporate meeting environment. Ensure that complete customer satisfaction is achieved and is accountable for all inventory before, during and after each event. Additional responsibilities include quality control, warehouse maintenance, and repair.
Experience:
• Minimum of 2 years experience in live audio/visual events in a corporate audio/visual environment, either in hospitality or similar market.
Skills: Working knowledge of basic a/v equipment and experience with live show Audio Visual in one or more of the following areas:
• Audio – Yamaha Digital Console Experience a big plus
• Video – Barco, Folsom and Panasonic Digital Switcher Experience a big plus
•Projection – Barco & Christie projection systems experience a big plus
• Lighting – Vista Systems Consoles Experience a big plus
• Rigging
• Familiar with Microsoft PowerPoint and Apple Keynote
• Basic understanding of audio/video signal path from source to display or speaker
• Ability to lift 50lbs overhead
• Able to stand or sit for 2-3 hours at a time
Able to communicate effectively with coworkers and clients in a potentially high stress environment.

Minimum of 6 years experience in live audio/visual events in a corporate environment.
Responsibilities:
Setup and operation of HD Video, Screen Switching, and Projection systems in a corporate meeting environment. Additional responsibilities include quality control warehouse work, maintenance and basic repair, and the loading and unloading of gear.
Experience:
•Video – Expert level Barco Encore, & Event Master digital switchers
•Projection – Barco & Christie projection systems
•Projection blending and mapping
•Camera Switching & Direction
•Video Playback and Recording software/hardware
•Dataton Watchout or other media server experience a big plus.
•Familiar with Microsoft PowerPoint and Apple Keynote
•Basic understanding of audio/video signal path from source to display or speaker
•Ability to lift 50lbs overhead
•Able to stand or sit for 2-3 hours at a time
•Able to communicate effectively with coworkers and clients in a potentially high stress environment.
